We offer you our assembly & annotation service

Our genomics analysis pipeline integrates advanced tools for the assembly and annotation of bacterial genomes, enabling accurate reconstruction and functional characterization. Using high-quality sequencing data, we employ optimized genome assembly algorithms to generate complete or near-complete bacterial genomes. These assemblies undergo comprehensive annotation with specialized software to identify coding sequences, structural features, antimicrobial resistance genes, and other functional elements. This approach provides valuable insights into bacterial diversity, evolutionary relationships, and potential roles in pathogenicity or beneficial interactions.

Requirements

You need to provide:

  1. Raw sequencing data in FASTQ format (paired-end or single FASTQ file)
  2. Brief description of the experiment
  3. Name of the bacterium (genus and species)

Deliverables

When you choose our Bacterial Genome Assembly & Annotation service, you will receive:

  1. Quality reports for the raw data
  2. Multi-FASTA files of the assembled contigs
  3. Assembly statistics (contig count, base count, minimum contig length, maximum contig length, contig N50, contig L50)
  4. Taxonomy check of the assembled sequences
  5. Annotated genome in GenBank flat file, GFF3, and ASN formats
